Yes. Smart Prep Services is a third-party prep warehouse (3PL) specializing in Amazon FBA receiving, labeling, packaging, bundling, and carton forwarding for ecommerce sellers.
Do you work with private label and wholesale Amazon sellers?
Yes. We prep inventory for private label brands, wholesale and arbitrage sellers, international importers, and high-volume replenishment clients shipping to US Amazon FCs.
What is the difference between FBA prep and regular warehousing?
FBA prep includes Amazon-specific tasks—FNSKU labeling, poly bagging per category rules, bundle prep, and FBA carton labeling—that general storage warehouses typically do not offer. Our facility is built for Seller Central compliance.
Do you serve Amazon sellers outside of New York?
Yes. We prep and forward inventory for Amazon sellers across the United States. Many clients ship supplier cartons to our Jamaica, NY warehouse for East Coast receiving even if they sell in other regions.

FNSKU & labeling
What is an FNSKU label?
An FNSKU (Fulfillment Network Stock Keeping Unit) is Amazon's barcode that links each unit to your seller account at fulfillment centers. Most FBA sellers apply FNSKU labels over manufacturer barcodes before check-in.
Do you print and apply FNSKU labels?
Yes. We print and apply FNSKU labels and box labels per your Seller Central shipment plan. Labeling is tiered by volume from $0.40–$0.60 per unit.
Can you fix or relabel non-compliant barcodes?
We flag unscannable or incorrectly placed labels during inspection. Relabeling is completed per your instructions and standard labeling rates.
What FNSKU labeling rates do you charge?
FNSKU labeling is tiered by volume: $0.60 per unit for 1–50 units, $0.50 for 50–500 units, and $0.40 for 500–1,000+ units. See our pricing page for the full rate card.
Can you poly bag and bundle products for Amazon FBA?
Yes. We offer standard and XL poly bagging, bubble wrap, multi-unit bundling, kitting, and sticker or insert removal—all aligned with Amazon Seller Central prep instructions.

Are there hidden receiving fees?
No. Receiving, inspection, damage control, counts, damage pictures, and two weeks of storage are included at no charge on every inbound shipment.
Do you offer volume discounts?
FNSKU labeling is automatically tiered by unit count. For 5,000+ units per month or recurring high-volume programs, contact us for custom pricing.
Is there a minimum shipment size?
We work with sellers at every stage—from small test batches to full container programs. Share your unit count and we will confirm pricing.
How do I get a final quote?

How much does carton forwarding to Amazon cost?
Carton forwarding starts at $1.00 per carton for weights up to 10 lb, with tiered rates up to $1.50 for heavier cartons. Outbound prep includes box labeling per your shipment plan.
Shipping to our warehouse
Can international sellers ship to your US prep center?
Yes. International brands importing to US Amazon FBA can route freight to our Jamaica, NY warehouse for prep and domestic forwarding to Amazon FCs.
What shipping carriers do you accept?
We receive cartons via major US carriers and freight lines. Include your company name and shipment reference on every inbound delivery.
What should I include with my inbound shipment?
Send prep instructions, SKU list, FNSKU label files or shipment IDs from Seller Central, and contact details. Contact us for receiving guidelines and dock hours.
How do I ship inventory to your prep center?

Storage & receiving
What is included in your free receiving service?
Every inbound shipment includes receiving, inspection, damage control, unit counts, damage pictures, and two weeks of free storage at no additional charge.
What happens after the two weeks of free storage?
We notify you before the included storage period ends. Extended storage may be available at additional cost—contact us to discuss timing if your Amazon shipment window is delayed.
How do I track my shipment prep status?
We communicate receiving confirmation, damage reports, and prep completion by email. Contact us anytime for a status update on your active shipment.
